I was an avid buyer and seller on Sitepoint as well. Flippa is absolutely ridiculous…a virtual joke. I have tried to use it at least a dozen times without success. It is a pitiful reminder of a once great site.

We just lowered the minimum success fee from $10 to $5 to better accommodate sellers of start-up sites below $200: http://flippadotcom.wordpress.com — Have a look at the blog post, this is just one of several changes that launched last night.

As a side note, I think many start-up sellers have a great opportunity to move upmarket and drastically boost their income – if they are willing to step outside of their comfort zone.
